We’re not obligated to please everybody, yes 1000% agree but I believe being nice is never a wrong thing to do, tho.

I just finished reading a story from an author here on Medium. He recalled the memory of when he was at the verge of chaos and almost plummetted off long forlornness due to the idea of failure he had over himself. While in fact he was only going through it.

Then he met this impressive figure who soon to be his business mentor and the meeting turned to be the life changing moment. The author really didn’t say much word about the business tips his mentor shared but more about how his mentor helped reconstruct his confidence from within. And that, buddy, that’s the key to the successful journey ahead.

Day by day of their conversations, they weren’t just talking about the business goals, benefits or risks of the author’s business idea. The mentor observed him and perceived his capabilities, using reversals to keep the conversation flows and tactfully honed the innate skills of the author. Guess what. The author finally managed to free himself out of the shackles and started the new chapter of his life thanks to the revered feeling he received from his mentor.

After reading this story, I did realize too that we don’t necessarily need to wait for people to undergo an ominous situation to make them feel appreciated. Like we can just do it every f*cking day. Even after we made it through this whole crazy ass pandemic! This became my reminder to learn to be more genuinely see people as who they are, professing their good traits without overextending myself, too for sure.

We reap what we sow, right? So yea let’s just hype each other, bitjes!!
